Delete your Portia account

You can delete your Portia account and the data linked to it in either of two ways.

Option 1: inside the app

Open Portia, go to Account > Delete my account and confirm. Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone.

Option 2: by email (if you cannot open the app)

Send an email from the address linked to your Portia account (your Google or Apple sign-in email) to dharmotech90@gmail.com with the subject Delete my Portia account. If you signed in with Apple's "Hide My Email", tell us the relay address (it ends in privaterelay.appleid.com) or the name on the account. We may ask you to confirm it is you. We will process the request within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account record, profile and settings.
Your assessments, learning plans, practice history, conversations and mistakes.
Your speaking recordings and reports. Recording files are in any case removed automatically after about 7 days.
For Apple sign-in, we also ask Apple to disconnect Portia from your Apple ID.

Copies held by outside providers under their own terms, and provider backups, are outside our direct control and are cleared on their normal schedules. See our Privacy Policy Delete account for details.
